Perhaps that is why he was able to beat his opponent in the final. In total, throughout his career, Jacobson has won more than $14 million in poker. This allowed him to move to London and continue to play. Martin hopes that luck will smile at him again.

The American won the World Series in 2006 and received $12 million. There were almost 9,000 participants that year. And in such conditions, Gold’s success seems simply incredible. It is especially interesting that during the tournament, the American constantly dropped exactly the cards that he needed. After this victory, Jamie did not wait for such successes. In addition, there are rumors that he gave half of the winnings to sponsors.

2nd place – Daniel Colman

The 2014 WSOP tournament brought American Daniel Coleman a $15 million prize. Thus, he fully paid off the entry fee of 1 million. The competition itself lasted three days and in the final Colman fought Daniel Negreanu. The star opponent did not embarrass the young American and he was able to get the main prize.

1st place – Antonio Esfandiari

Another resident of the United States received the largest prize in poker. Antonio Esfandiari took part in the WSOP High Roller in 2012 and was able to set a record. The player received a prize of just over $18 million. Interestingly, before starting to play poker, Antoniy worked as a magician and earned a living from this. Perhaps it was the tricks from the past that helped the American win. Indeed, at first he was not even considered among the contenders for the championship and they thought that he would be one of the first to leave the tournament.

But in the end, everything turned out differently. According to the results of the first day, Antonio ranked fourth in terms of the number of chips. However, then he quickly managed to become a chip leader and defeat Sam Trickett.
